Quick start

Your profile and community

Edit your public profile, discover creators and manage who you follow.

Use your public profile to introduce yourself and share your work. Follow other creators to find them again and choose whether their updates reach your inbox or email.

Edit your public profile

Sign in and open Edit profile, or choose Edit profile on your own profile page.

  • Display name: the name people see beside your work.
  • Profile picture: an image that helps people recognize you.
  • Handle: the short name in your profile address.
  • Bio, location and website: an introduction and a way to learn more about your work. Add only information you want to make public.

Choose Save changes after editing the text fields. Picture uploads and removals save separately when you perform them. Use View public profile to review the result.

A handle is optional and currently can be chosen only once. Check it carefully before saving; the form explains the accepted format and whether it is available. You can keep editing your display name and other profile details afterward.

Discover people and their work

Open Creators to browse and search the directory, or follow a creator link from a module or shared item. Visit their profile to explore the public work and activity available there.

When an instrument or effect inspires you, open its page and try it. If you want to adapt it, remixing a module explains how to start your own version in Studio.

Follow creators and find them again

Choose Follow on another person's profile. Sign in if prompted; the button changes to Following once the connection is saved. Select Following again to unfollow.

Use Following to return to people you follow and Followers to see who follows you. Profiles also show follower and following sections, so treat those connections as public.

Following makes it easier to find a creator again. Product access still follows the item's own terms; see purchases and downloads when you want to acquire something they offer.

Use Notifications and email to choose which replies, releases and community updates reach your inbox or email.

Share your profile

Open the profile's More profile actions menu and choose Copy profile link. You can share that link so people can find your work and follow you.

What visitors can see depends on each item's visibility and publication state. Your own signed-in view can include work or activity that other people cannot access. Review content rights and visibility when deciding what to share, and publishing and exports when preparing a release.

Manage your personal settings

Your public profile describes you to other people. Find and manage your account settings covers notifications, subscriptions, connected tools and account data. Your public name and introduction can change without changing your sign-in identity.

For trouble saving a profile or following someone, check the message shown and confirm that you are signed in. Contact support with the affected page and the action you tried if the problem continues.
