Map your recordings
Arrange hits on pads or map recordings across a keyboard. Set root notes, tuning, and sample start and end points instead of preparing a separate file for every use.

Adjust attack and release, choose how velocity affects level, and use different recordings for soft and hard notes. Alternate takes can give repeated notes more variation.
Keep presets with different tuning, tone, or envelopes. Return to the recordings and mappings when you want to change the instrument.
Import your audio into a sampler project, edit its mappings and settings, and audition it with keys, pads, or supported MIDI input. Ask the Studio agent to help with mapping and other bank edits, or use the editor directly.
Start with the response you need: a softer attack, shorter release, stronger velocity contrast, or a different sample on a hard strike. Try it on your own material before adding more complexity.

Play existing banks and explore the sampler’s controls before bringing your own recordings. The same sampler provides playback for Studio banks.
