Your creator dashboard and earnings

Understand generation activity, product adoption, sales and payout records.

Open Earnings to review sales, balances and payout records. To understand how people use a generation feature, open the module's settings instead. Someone who generates a sound has not necessarily bought your product.

Read the right number

Your questionWhere to look and what it tells you
Are people generating new sounds?Module settings show generation jobs, generating users and metered credits for the displayed period. This counts generation, not everyone who plays the instrument.
Are customers activating the installed plugin?Licensing reports show trials, activated computers and active seats. They do not count every offline session.
Has someone bought the product?Review orders and creator sale records. Ask about installation separately if a customer reports a problem.
How much can I receive?Review the earnings balance, adjustments, holds and payout records. A sale can be recorded before its money is available for payout.

For example, a beatbox may have many people playing its prepared kit and fewer using generation. Its generation user count describes the latter group.

Account connections and privacy

Creator apps manages apps you own. Connected apps manages permissions you have granted to other apps. They serve different roles.

You can recognize a returning user within your app. That does not let you browse their private projects or see what they do in other apps. See Maru sign-in for your product.

Understand earnings

The earnings page provides the available seller setup, balances, sales, ledger and payout records. Review the displayed fees, holds, adjustments and payout conditions before treating a sale as spendable income.

Payouts are arranged with Maru during the beta. Connecting your payout account completes setup; it does not start automatic transfers. Pending earnings are still held, available earnings have cleared the hold, and paid earnings have a recorded payout. Ask Maru to confirm the transfer date and reference for your payout.

Use the information to improve the product

Compare the stage people reach with the help they request: a purchase without a successful install suggests a different problem from a generation request that fails. Ask for feedback about the musical result as well as reviewing counts.

If a sale or payout appears to be missing, contact Maru with the product, reporting period and relevant order or payout reference. Do not include bank credentials. Selling on Maru and maintaining your products connect reporting to the release lifecycle.
