Sign in and manage access
Understand when you need an account and where to review access.
Sign in with Google to find your saved work, acquired products and account services. You can read public guides and browse without signing in.
Sign in when prompted
Use the Google sign-in option on Maru, then return to what you were doing. Signing in identifies your account; an early-access feature can still require approval.
Check the sign-in identity in General settings, especially if you use more than one Google account. Work and purchases belong to the account that created or acquired them; an empty library can mean you signed in with a different account.
Review account access
Open account settings and search Overview for what you want to do, such as change your profile, find an invoice or review a connection. Find and manage your account settings maps those tasks to their controls.
Connected apps shows permissions you have granted; Creator apps manages apps you own; Access tokens manages credentials for local tools and automation.
Connected apps and permissions explains the choices at a higher level. Developers setting up a local tool can follow the CLI sign-in reference.
Personalize your public profile
Use Edit profile to set your public name, picture and introduction. Your profile and community covers choosing a handle, following creators and sharing your profile.
Use your account inside a product
A creator's instrument or app can use Maru sign-in for supported connected features. Read the app name and permissions on Maru's approval page before continuing. Buying a product, approving an app and activating an installed plugin are separate actions.
See licenses and product access for customer activation, or creator apps if you want to add sign-in to your own product.
If access fails
If you cannot access the Google account you use for Maru, use Google's account recovery process. Changing your Maru display name or connecting GitHub does not replace that sign-in method.
If you can sign in but cannot open a feature or download, keep the visible error and the destination you were trying to reach. The message may concern early access or product access rather than sign-in. Contact support with those details and the affected product or project. Do not include passwords, access tokens or recovery secrets.
