Sparklizer

A stereo delay that shows each repeat as it moves across the beat.

Made with Jazz Calls Home

Includes beta access today and the finished release at launch.

Included

A complete instrument you can play now.

Two delay lines on two note divisions of one tempo, cross-feeding into each other
Bounce Scope: the repeat train drawn on a beat grid before you hear it
Tone shaping inside the loop, so repeats thin and darken as they age
Width, bloom and a duck from the dry input, on the wet path only
A post-delay chain in the same plugin: reverb and saturation with one amount each, and a compressor with Threshold, Ratio and Makeup
The compressor runs last, where its makeup gain brings the delay feedback up in volume
The factory bank Jazz voiced, including the settings from her own sessions

From the release

A bouncing delay with beats to try it on.

Sparklizer turns Jazz Calls Home's vocal chain into one plugin: a cross-feeding stereo delay into reverb, saturation and compression. Bounce Room adds dry drums and MIDI loops.

A cross-feeding stereo delay built from an artist's own vocal chain, with reverb, saturation and compression after it in the same plugin, paired with a drum mini bank and 4-bar MIDI loops so it makes sense the moment you load it.

How it came to be

An artist's chain, made easier to load and play.

Jazz had a crystal-clear vision for her ideal plugin: the enveloping vocal effect she rebuilt session after session, distilled into one instrument.

Sparklizer turns that complex chain into an expressive stereo space where vocals bloom wide, move with the track, and still stay present at the centre.

Her chain never stopped at the delay, so the plugin does not either. A room, some saturation and a compressor sit after it: one amount each for the room and the saturation, and Threshold, Ratio and Makeup on the compressor. Jazz put the compressor last on purpose, in her words because it brings the delay feedback up in volume, if you want to hear more of that.

Why this release

The details that make it Sparklizer.

More than a stereo delay

Bounce cross-feeds two lines running two note divisions, so repeats travel across the field instead of alternating sides. There is a real Dry/Wet mix and a duck from the dry vocal, a scope that draws the repeat train before you hear it, and reverb, saturation and compression after the delay in the same plugin.

One artist's chain, not a genre preset

Quadrature phase, bloom after width, the 220 Hz low cut, and the feedback ceiling are her settings. They stay design constants instead of becoming knobs that could lie.

You can hear it before you own it

The plugin runs in the browser on its own module page. No account, no installer, no demo timer. The product page is the demo.

Sounds that arrive already usable

The mini bank is drums and MIDI chosen for this effect, so the first thing you play is in tempo and in the right pocket.

Plain files, not a walled garden

The bank ships as a playable instrument and as WAV and .mid files. What you buy opens in whatever you already use.

From the same sessions

Sounds to put the effect in motion.

The companion release brings the drums and MIDI patterns that make Sparklizer make sense the moment you load it.

Drum and MIDI bank

Bounce Room

Dry drums and flexible MIDI loops made to leave room for repeats.

A sampled drum kit voiced for delay, with short dry hits that leave room for repeats
35 MIDI drum loops across straight, odd-meter and electronic feels
General MIDI mapping for the included kit or any drum plugin you already own
Some loops keep Jazz Calls Home’s extra MIDI notes (33 and 34) as optional effect cues—a way to trigger effects in time with the groove. Map them to effects in your own session, or leave them unassigned; every drum hit stays in the General MIDI range.
Plain WAV and .mid files, plus a playable instrument
