- Start with a short melody or drum interpolation. Choose a configuration that can represent your phrase before preparing a large MIDI corpus.
- Training data
- Varies by configuration: melody, drum and trio checkpoints do not share one documented corpus ledger. The GrooVAE variant uses the Groove MIDI Dataset; custom MIDI training is supported.
- Training rights
- The code license is not a blanket grant for all MIDI material. Dataset and checkpoint provenance must be checked per configuration.

- Limitations
- Fixed sequence lengths, instrument constraints and quantization affect what can be represented; it does not generate recorded audio.
