Try steering a short live phrase. Measure how quickly a change becomes audible, rather than judging it as a full-song arranger.
Training data
About 71,000 hours of mostly instrumental stock music from multiple sources, according to the card. The earlier Magenta RealTime uses a different, roughly 190,000-hour collection.
Training rights
The stock-music collection is not redistributed as a public dataset. Google places responsibility for output use with developers and users.
License & output terms
Code: Apache 2.0. Weights: CC BY 4.0, with the card's usage terms.
Limitations
Instrumental focus, uneven genre coverage and limited musical context. Fine-tuning support is described as forthcoming in the linked card.
Technique
Streaming autoregressive audio tokens
Runtime
Designed for on-device streaming; hardware, runtime and model size determine achievable latency.
Parameters
Not itemized for this release/family. Parameter sizes shown elsewhere may exclude encoders, decoders or other runtime components.

Sources reviewed . Training and rights notes summarize provider disclosures. A model license does not clear every source recording or generated output. Parameter counts refer to the named variant or component, not total runtime memory.
