About

FuMi-1 is an accompaniment instrument inspired by Suikohsha's ST-50, with koto, sho, shakuhachi, flute and taiko voices and a choice of equal temperament or the ST-50's just tuning. It grew from FoMni.

Install and safety

Untested. No compatibility reports yet. Maru has not tested it on hardware.

Coming after hardware verification. Maru will offer installs only after its own installer has completed a full install and restore on a physical M-VAVE FM-1, and only for open-source releases whose authors have been told.

  • Put the unit on stock V15 first, and keep your own copy of the stock file from M-VAVE’s downloads (opens in a new tab) so you can go back.
  • Back up your presets with the current firmware’s own export before installing.
  • Rescue: none documented for this firmware.
  • If something goes wrong, follow the recovery ladder.
