Call for designers

What could music look like?

Beautiful. Strange. Playful. Completely unexpected. We’re looking for designers with wild ideas for audio plugin interfaces. Bring your imagination. Let’s build something people can make music with.

What we’d like to build.

We want to collaborate with the best designers out there. People who make us look twice, want to touch a control, or discover a new way to play. Here are a few challenges we’d love to explore with you.

A floating glass prism turns a beam into rainbow ribbons above three metallic audio controls.

Something visually stunning.

What if an effect felt like playing with light? Triprism explores that idea with a reactive prism. Bring us your own beautiful, outrageous visual world—and let’s find out how it could respond to sound.

An impossible ribbon keyboard wraps around a coral ring with translucent resonators and orbiting controls.

An instrument from somewhere else.

A strange sequencer. A harmony playground. An instrument nobody knows how to play yet. Invent a new gesture, bend the rules, and give musicians something wonderfully unfamiliar to explore.

An ivory audio panel with precision faders, a lime waveform and an exploded black rotary dial.

Just ridiculously good design.

A knob you can almost feel through the screen. Sliders that move just right. A whole plugin that makes every detail count. Help us build slick interfaces and grow a toolkit other designers can make their own.

Let’s talk about it.

We’re flexible about how we work together. Maybe we build a component, try an experiment, or make something just for fun. Maybe it grows into an open-source project or a plug-in we help you release. We can figure that out together.

We have the audio plumbing, the integration tools, and a growing UI toolkit to build on. Mostly, we want to meet great designers and make cool music-making tools with them. Bring something you’re excited about. We’d love to see it.
