About
Write patterns in Strudel, or in Symbolic Cycle, which adds chords, keys, drum names and seeded generators that draft progressions, melodies and basslines. Click a value in the code to change it with a control, and watch every part in the MIDI roll.
Each part plays on its own MIDI channel. On this page a built-in voice plays them; in a rack, send the channels to different instruments, or export the parts as a MIDI file for your DAW.
How it works.
The code is prepared into a finite MIDI timeline outside the audio callback, and the module's Processor plays it on the sample clock. The Symbolic Cycle guide in the docs covers the language.
