**Creator selling is in beta and needs an agreed launch with Maru.** [Contact Maru](https://maruaudio.com/contact) with your product, intended buyers and release destination before taking orders. Publishing a project or registering an app does not enable selling.

## Choose what you are selling

| Product | What the customer needs |
| --- | --- |
| Instrument or effect | A release tested in the stated host, with its required assets |
| Sampler bank | The recordings and mappings, plus a compatible sampler |
| Sound collection | Clearly described audio content and its permitted uses |
| Connected product | The product itself, plus a clear explanation of account requirements and any separately metered service |

Racks, presets and other reusable creations are part of the broader ecosystem direction. Confirm their specific publication, checkout and delivery path with Maru before offering them for sale. Public sharing support does not by itself establish paid delivery support.

## Prepare a useful listing

Describe the musical outcome, intended audience, included files, supported environments and first steps. Provide a representative demo and keep a saved source revision. State any online requirement prominently.

Confirm that you can distribute every included recording, model, interface and dependency. [Content rights and visibility](https://maruaudio.com/help/content-rights-and-visibility.md) explains what to review.

## Agree the commercial arrangement

Before launch, confirm the product's license, price, creator share, applicable fees, refund handling, payout eligibility and timing, customer support and update responsibilities. Use your listing settings to review the offer and [Earnings](https://maruaudio.com/account/earnings) to review sales and payout setup. Payouts currently require Maru to arrange the transfer; connecting a payout account does not start automatic payments.

The [Terms](https://maruaudio.com/terms), the product's offer and any agreed creator terms govern the transaction. Ask about framework and export permissions separately from ownership of your original work.

## Deliver and maintain the product

Test the actual customer journey: discovery, acquisition, account access, download or playback, and getting help. [Licenses and product access](https://maruaudio.com/help/licenses-and-product-access.md) covers activation; [creator reporting and earnings](https://maruaudio.com/help/creator-dashboard-and-earnings.md) explains the business views.

Selling through your own site is a separate arrangement. Confirm distribution permissions and how checkout, licenses and support connect; an external sale does not automatically create a Maru entitlement.

Developers can continue with [Sell and share](https://maruaudio.com/docs/sell-and-share.md).
